KPR Connect ("we", "us", "our") provides the KPR Connect mobile application and web platform to support recovery, therapy coordination, and peer/professional connection. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

2. How We Use Information

To provide core app features: check-ins, tasks, meetings, chat, and account management
To send you notifications (e.g. meeting reminders, task updates) via push notification and email
To coordinate meetings, including scheduling through our integrated Microsoft Teams meeting service
To maintain the security of your account and prevent misuse
To improve the app's reliability and features

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

Service providers that help us operate the app — e.g. Firebase (push notifications, real-time messaging), our hosting provider, and Microsoft Teams (for meetings you create or join)
Other users, limited to what you choose to share (e.g. your name and profile in group/meeting contexts)
Legal authorities, only if required by law

4. Data Security

Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Access to administrative tools is restricted to authorized staff. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

5. Your Choices & Rights

You can review and update your profile information at any time within the app.
You can control notification permissions through your device settings.
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time — see below.

6. Account & Data Deletion

In the app: Open Profile → Delete Account, confirm the prompt, and your account will be deactivated and scheduled for deletion immediately.

Without the app: Email info@kprconnect.com from your registered email address with the subject "Delete My Account", including the email address on your account. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Deleting your account removes your profile and personal data from active use. Some records may be retained where required for legal, safety, or legitimate business record-keeping purposes (e.g. financial transaction records), consistent with applicable law.

7. Children's Privacy

KPR Connect is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" above.
